Symeon Andriotis started as PhD Student

I recently joined the AI and Behaviour group at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam as an external PhD candidate. I completed an MSc in Geographical Information Science at Lund University, where my dissertation examined political violence in Athens through spatial analysis and machine learning approaches. My broader academic background also includes criminal psychology and political studies, while my professional experience as a criminal intelligence analyst has influenced my deep interest in applied research.

My current research focuses on geo-computational approaches to urban crime prediction, particularly the integration of spatial criminology and machine learning methods.
